Openers Who Set the Stage on Fire

At the top of the order, Sai Sudharsan from Gujarat Titans has dazzled fans with his elegant strokeplay. Scoring 417 runs in just 8 matches at a stellar average of 52.13, Sudharsan has been a revelation. His calmness under pressure has been striking, and with a strike rate of 152.18, he’s shown that grace and aggression can walk hand-in-hand.

Partnering him is none other than Virat Kohli, the evergreen maestro from Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kohli has amassed 392 runs with a jaw-dropping average of 65.33, including five half-centuries. His best knock, an unbeaten 73* off 44 balls, was vintage Kohli — fierce, controlled, and utterly dominant. "When you love the game, age becomes just a number," Kohli smiled after one of his match-winning knocks.

Top-Order Powerhouses

In the crucial No. 3 slot stands Nicholas Pooran, the left-handed dynamite from Lucknow Super Giants. Pooran’s ballistic batting — 377 runs at a strike rate of 204.89 — has often left bowlers in a daze. His highest score, a blistering 87* off 43 balls, remains one of the innings of the tournament.

At No. 4, Suryakumar Yadav has continued to redefine audacity. Representing Mumbai Indians, Surya’s 373 runs have come at a sparkling average of 62.17. His innovative shots and unorthodox angles have had fans and opponents equally bewildered. "I just back myself, no matter what," Suryakumar said with a glint in his eye after another masterclass.

Middle-Order Anchors and Finishers

The engine room begins with Jos Buttler, also with Gujarat Titans this year. The Englishman’s 356 runs at a whopping average of 71.20 have seen him both anchor and explode when needed. His unbeaten 97* off 52 balls was a knock for the ages.

At No. 6, Mitchell Marsh for Lucknow Super Giants has been a tower of strength. Scoring 344 runs at a strike rate of 160.74, Marsh has been the perfect enforcer in the middle overs.

Completing the middle-order is Aiden Markram, Marsh’s LSG teammate, who has quietly contributed 326 runs at 150.92 strike rate. His calm presence has often been the balm after early wickets.

Bowlers Who Brought the Fire

Leading the bowling charts is Prasidh Krishna from Gujarat Titans, whose 16 wickets at a staggering average of 14.12 has left many batters hopping. His best — 4 for 41 — showcased his knack for breakthroughs.

Sharing the honours is Josh Hazlewood of RCB, also bagging 16 wickets but with his classic, suffocating line and length. His economy of 8.37 may not tell the full story of how ruthlessly he shut batters down.

The mystery spinner Noor Ahmad of Chennai Super Kings follows close behind, spinning webs with 14 wickets at 17.78 apiece. His youthful exuberance and clever variations have been priceless for CSK.

Completing the XI is Harshal Patel from Sunrisers Hyderabad, a familiar face with a knack for breakthroughs. With 13 wickets, including two four-wicket hauls, Harshal has yet again proven himself a game-changer at the death.

In a season filled with breathtaking moments, this Top 11 has been the heart and soul of IPL 2025 — making us fall in love with the game all over again.
