By MyKhel Staff

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be desperate to seal their place for the playoffs as they take on the Kolkata Knight Riders in an important IPL 2025 clash on Saturday (May 17).

The encounter at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium will also mark the resumption of the IPL after a week's hiatus due to the India-Pakistan border escalation. As RCB look to secure an important victory, Virat Kohli has also returned to the fray.

IPL 2025 Virat Kohli annoyed with RCB Song Tells to Shut Down at Chinnaswamy Stadium - Reason Revealed

The India stalwart announced his retirement from Test cricket earlier this week and will take the field for the first time since his Test departure. Kohli joined the team a couple of days ago and RCB also posted a video of him practising at the Chinnaswamy, but a report claims the India star to be extremely annoyed by one of the incidents at the stadium.

Virat Kohli annoyed with RCB Theme Song

A report from Cricbuzz says that the RCB batter was very angry with the music system at the Chinnaswamy, which was playing the RCB theme song during practice. Kohli joined the batting practice, and as the sound was blasting through the boxes, he was unhappy. The player reportedly conveyed his annoyance to the people around the stadium, and finally, the music had to be shut down. It is a normal reaction from Kohli because the sound often causes disruption to one's concentration.

As the IPL prepares for its return, there can be a significant roadblock due to the Bengaluru weather on Saturday. As per the weather reports, the Garden City is set to receive a strong rainfall on the day, which is likely to disturb the proceedings. As for the match is concerned, a washout will be curtains for KKR and their playoff hopes. On the other hand, RCB would seal their place in the last four with a win.

The Knight Riders are set to miss Moeen Ali and Rovman Powell as the foreigners haven't returned for the final phase. RCB captain Rajat Patidar has also reportedly restored his fitness and is set to captain the team.
