IPL 2025: Virat Kohli picks KKR Bowler as Toughest, also names Unsold Players as Hardest Bowlers He has Faced

Virat Kohli has been in tremendous form in the ongoing IPL 2025 as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter has scored prolifically so far.

Kohli's form has been immense in the tournament and the RCB star has been hovering around the Orange Cap race this season.

Kohli's batting has been one of the driving factors for RCB this season, who are currently occupying the 3rd spot in the IPL 2025 points table and are looking ominous. It has been a season of many revivals for the Bengaluru outfit, and Kohli has been in the forefront of it.

Kohli will be up against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday, and ahead of that, the RCB player revealed the toughest bowlers he has faced in his career.

The India stalwart is regarded one of modern greats and has scored across the globe across formats for the country. Kohli's majestic batting has aided India and the batter himself has notched up a plethora of records across formats.

But Kohli has had his fair share of battles and struggles against bowlers. Although the Indian star has overcome the struggles, in a recent event, he revealed the toughest bowlers for him across formats.

Kohli named former England pacer James Anderson as the toughest Test bowler he has faced, while in T20s, Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Sunil Narine has troubled him the most. For the ODIs, Kohli's toughest pick is Lasith Malinga and current England spinner Adil Rashid, whom he thinks the toughest spinner in his career.

"In Test cricket, James Anderson in England, by far the toughest. In T20 cricket, I think Sunil Narine for a consistent amount of time. 15 years and, he is still very difficult to pick. I can't pick him," Kohli said.

"And in One Day Cricket, Malinga was pretty good. He was difficult to face. Adil Rashid is very good, he is probably the toughest spinner I have faced," the RCB star added.

Incidentally, both Anderson and Rashid were part of the IPL 2025 mega auction but neither could find a team.
