Ahead of their crucial IPL 2025 match against Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals have suffered a huge injury blow.
As per reports, star DC batter KL Rahul has suffered an injury and had to leave the Delhi camp during the practice.

KL Rahul reportedly sustained a blow during a recent net session while facing pacer Mukesh Kumar. Rahul suffered a knee injury after getting hit and thus had to leave the practice in the midway. The incident forced the senior batter to leave the practice mid-way, raising questions over his fitness ahead of DC's crucial upcoming fixture against Mumbai Indians.
The clash is a virtual knockout for both sides, making Rahul's availability all the more vital. While the franchise has not yet issued an official statement regarding the severity of the knock or his participation in the next game, Rahul's recent injury history adds to the apprehension. Any flare-up of past issues could potentially sideline him at a critical juncture in the season.
The India batter has been prolific for Delhi Capitals this season, scoring 438 runs so far in the IPL 2025. He has scored at an average excess of 60, notching up 3 half-centuries and a century as well.
Although the Capitals haven't confirmed KL Rahul's current status, a clearer picture would arrive on Wednesday morning.
If KL Rahul is missing, Delhi Capitals will have to replace the batter with someone else. The Capitals do have the likes of Karun Nair in their ranks who has come to the IPL on the back of prolific form in domestic cricket.
Against Mumbai Indians, DC will be playing a virtual knockout match. If the Capitals lose it, they will be eliminated from the IPL 2025 playoff races.
