IPL 2026 Auction: Prashant Veer to Kartik Sharma - 10 Most Expensive Uncapped Players in Mini Auction

There were plenty of other uncapped players who went big in the mini auction. Jammu and Kashmir's Auqib Nabi went to Delhi Capitals for Rs 8.40 crore, while RCB roped in Mangesh Yadav for Rs 5.20 crore.

  1. Prashant Veer – ₹14.20 crore – Chennai Super Kings
    A 20-year-old left-arm spinning all-rounder from Uttar Pradesh, Prashant Veer emerged as one of the biggest surprises.   2. Kartik Sharma – ₹14.20 crore – Chennai Super Kings
    The 19-year-old wicketkeeper-batter from Rajasthan joined Veer as joint-most expensive uncapped player ever. Kartik's explosive T20 form, 334 runs in 12 matches at a strike rate of 164, with 28 sixes made him a hot prospect. His aggressive striking and solid glovework behind the stumps drew intense bidding, reflecting CSK's intent to bolster their middle-order firepower with Gen Z talent.

    A Delhi-based wicketkeeper-batter, Tejasvi secured a strong deal with the defending champions. His reliable keeping skills combined with consistent domestic batting performances made him an attractive backup option.

  6. Mukul Choudhary – ₹2.60 crore – Lucknow Super Giants

  10. Ravi Singh - ₹95 lakh - Rajasthan Royals
    Ravi Singh, born May 25, 2001, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is a 24-year-old left-handed batsman and leg-spin bowler playing for Railways. He debuted in Ranji Trophy at 18, scoring a maiden century against Bihar and taking 50 first-class wickets at 25.76 average. He has been roped in by RR for next season, who have invested in youth in the auction.
