JioStar, the official broadcast and digital partner for IPL 2026, has announced a star-studded lineup for the IPL 2026 commentators as it has been announced on Friday (March 27).

The IPL 2026 season starts from Saturday as the world awaits a blockbuster action in the next two months or so.

For the first time, supporters can follow the live drama alongside IPL champions via a special digital feed on JioHotstar.

IPL 2026 Commentary Languages

With over 150 presenters and experts, JioStar delivers 20+ feeds across JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network. The network covers the action in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, while JioHotstar expands to 12 languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Haryanvi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, and Malayalam. Inclusive options include Indian Sign Language and an Audio Descriptive feed.

JioHotstar also revives MaxView in Hindi and English, plus a multi-cam setup letting fans pick from five angles like Hero Cam, Stump Cam, Batter Cam, Field View, and multi-view.

Making his commentary debut in JioStar studios is IPL 2026 newcomer and former India spin wizard Ravichandran Ashwin, the CSK icon and sharp storyteller. He'll team up with IPL greats Virender Sehwag, RCB's AB de Villiers, T20 World Cup winner Irfan Pathan, CSK champs Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and Faf du Plessis, plus ex-RCB skipper and coach Anil Kumble. The lineup grows with pros like Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Michael Clarke, Eoin Morgan, Aaron Finch, Dale Steyn, and Kevin Pietersen.

A New Hindi Watch-Along for IPL 2026

A new Hindi digital watch-along feed spotlights IPL champions and top analysts-Ravichandran Ashwin, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Umesh Yadav, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Aakash Chopra-sharing insider dressing-room yarns, untold player stories, and mindset breakdowns during live play.

Regional flair amps up the Tamil feed with ex-Sri Lanka star Russel Arnold and RJ Balaji. Returning voices include two-time IPL winner Manvinder Bisla, broadcasters Navjot Singh Sidhu and Ajay Jadeja, ex-India player and admin Kiran More, and former CSK batter S Badrinath, among others.
