IPL 2026 Final: 3 RCB Players set to be part of Hat-Trick of Finals

The stage is set for a thrilling IPL 2026 final as defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 31.

RCB enter the match as strong favourites after producing a dominant performance in Qualifier 1, where they defeated GT by 92 runs.

IPL 2026 Final 3 RCB Players set to be part of Hat-Trick of Finals

Gujarat Titans, who advanced by defeating Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2, rely heavily on the consistent form of captain Shubman Gill and middle-order anchor Sai Sudharsan. Their bowling attack, led by the experienced Rashid Khan, remains dangerous. However, GT’s batting showed vulnerabilities against quality pace in the previous encounter, which RCB’s attack is well-equipped to exploit. Expect a high-scoring contest where RCB’s depth in both departments could give them the edge in what promises to be a memorable finale.

RCB Players Eyeing a Third Straight IPL Final Appearance

Two key players will be featuring in their third consecutive IPL final, adding extra layers of experience and motivation to the 2026 decider. Having been part of Kolkata Knight Riders’ successful campaign in 2024 and Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s maiden triumph in 2025, these stars now wear RCB colours and bring proven match-winning pedigree.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the veteran Indian pacer widely known as Bhuvi, continues to defy age with his intelligent swing bowling. A master of the new ball and death overs, he holds the record for the most dot balls in IPL history. At 36, his ability to swing the ball both ways and mentor younger bowlers has been crucial for RCB’s title defence.

Suyash Sharma, the promising young leg-spinner, represents the exciting future of Indian spin bowling. He first made his mark with KKR in 2024 and delivered several match-winning spells for RCB in 2025, including impressive figures in the playoffs. His sharp googly and ability to bowl tight middle overs have made him a vital weapon for the defending champions.

Phil Salt is another player who is part of the 3rd IPL final in a row, but the England player didn't play in IPL 2024 during his KKR days, and his not going to play this year as well as he is already back in England after an injury.
