IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans Shubharambh 2026 Sets Tone For The Season Built On Legacy And Belief

Gujarat Titans opened their IPL 2026 campaign build-up with Shubharambh 2026 in Ahmedabad on March 23, 2026. The event brought together the full squad, franchise owners, partners and fans. It reviewed the team’s five-year journey and set a clear outlook for the coming season.

The evening highlighted the franchise’s unity, ambition and Gujarat-first ethos. It mixed reflection, recognition and cultural celebration. The team’s progress since launch was a key theme. Gujarat Titans recalled their title win in their debut season and their consistent performances since then in the Indian Premier League.

Speakers stressed how the franchise has built a strong fan base. They noted one of the most engaged supporter communities in the IPL. The focus on culture, leadership and long-term vision remained central. The event underlined Gujarat Titans’ growth on the pitch and as a brand off it.

Mr. Jinal Mehta, Director, Torrent Group and Chairman, Gujarat Titans, and Mr. Shaan Mehta, Director, Torrent Group and Director, Gujarat Titans, led the ownership presence. Chief Operating Officer Colonel Arvinder Singh, Head Coach Ashish Nehra and Director of Cricket Vikram Solanki also attended, signalling a unified leadership group.

A special segment honoured captain Shubman Gill and his role in the squad’s journey. Ananya Birla, Director on the board of Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd., outlined Birla Estates’ position as Principal Sponsor for this season, stressing long-term community links that extend beyond the cricket field and match days.

Mandira Bedi hosted the evening, which blended music, culture and team presentation. Shubman Gill led a theatrical squad unveiling. Performances by Bhoomi Trivedi and Kinjal Dave highlighted Gujarat’s cultural identity. Gujarat Titans now look to their opener against Punjab Kings in Mullanpur on March 31, followed by a home match against Rajasthan Royals in Ahmedabad on April 4.
