IPL 2026: With IPL 2026 fast approaching, teams have already begun preparations at their respective home venues. The season is set to kick off on March 28, with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has so far released the schedule for the first 20 matches, holding back the remainder as it awaits the Election Commission of India's announcement of polling dates across five states in April and May. The complete fixture list is expected to be released shortly.

IPL 2026: Coaching Staff Of All The Franchises

Teams like Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have stuck by their coaching staff. However, a few sides have made some tactical tweaks in their coaching staff to strengthen their squad further.

Kolkata Knight Riders have handed the head coach role to Abhishek Nayar and added Shane Watson to their setup. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals have reinstated Kumar Sangakkara in the coaching group following Rahul Dravid's exit. Gujarat Titans have also made a key addition, bringing in Matthew Hayden as their batting coach, with the former Australian opener stepping away from his commentary duties for the season.
