IPL 2026: KKR Player leaves Camp to prepare for Test Cricket, Didn't get a Single Game!
Kolkata Knight Riders are currently struggling in this IPL 2026 campaign. With just 4 wins in 11 matches, they are on the verge of elimination and are in tight ropes. Amid this, a KKR player has left the camp, as it was confirmed by the franchise on Friday (May 15).
New Zealand star Rachin Ravindra has left the KKR team and has flown back to New Zealand for preparations for the upcoming Test series for his country, as it was announced by KKR.

Ravindra, who was signed in the IPL 2026 mini auction, has not featured for them so far and the KKR management deemed him surplus to requirements. The Kiwis will travel to England for a three-match Test series, starting from June 4, and Ravindra is certain to be a part of the team.
"Rachin Ravindra has returned home to begin his red-ball preparations for New Zealand's upcoming Test tour to England," a statement from KKR confirmed his departure.
The overseas contingent of KKR had a multifaceted blow ahead of this season. Mustafizur Rahman, the Bangladeshi pacer was released for geopolitical tensions and Blessing Muzarabani was brought in, while Sri Lanka's Matheesha Pathirana also joined late after clearing a fitness test.
