IPL 2026: The Indian Premier League is a runway for many young talents to take flight and showcase their talent in front of the people. Every year, it becomes a melting pot of cricketing talent from across the world, a mega spectacle.
It not only provides a platform for emerging players to rub shoulders with seasoned international stars. but also shapes the sport's future by unearthing match-winners and game-changers. With high-pressure situations and global attention, the league continues to redefine modern-day cricket and elevate the standard of the game.

Likewise, in this season as well, there will be a lot of young talents who will be itching to go out there and show their talents at the centre stage of the most cash-rich T20I cricket league in the world. Ramakrishna Ghosh is one such talent who will be in the mix this year for the Chennai Super Kings.
Former Indian player Ravichandran Ashwin, who has seen Ghosh rise through the ranks, shared his growth over the years as a cricketer and how he can be an asset to CSK's hopes of a sixth title.
Ramakrishna Ghosh, who was part of the CSK squad last season, didn't get an opportunity to play for the franchise. Ashwin said that the tall right-arm bowling all-rounder can consistently clock at speeds of 135-140 km/hr and is equally capable of clearing the ropes with ease.
Ghosh delivered an impressive performance in the Maharashtra Premier League, picking up seven wickets while also contributing valuable runs. He has been impactful with both bat and ball, registering a 73-run knock, chipping in with multiple two to three-wicket spells, and even claiming a remarkable seven-wicket haul. Ashwin also emphasised that Ghosh belongs to the rarest of the rare commodities in Indian cricket, a genuine fast-bowling all-rounder.
The former Indian cricketer believes that India needs many more fast-bowling all-rounder options. Ghosh also possesses the ideal physical attributes, he is tall, strong, and capable of bowling at pace while also being a powerful hitter. He is certainly a player to watch out for in the future. While he still needs opportunities and exposure, he is clearly making a strong case for himself and showing that he belongs at the highest level.
