IPL All-Time Greatest XI: Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni In, Rohit Sharma Out? Check Out Complete Team, Impact Subs

As the world prepares for the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), broadcasters Star Sports have looked back at the previous years of the tournament.

25 Cricket Experts across the world submitted their picks on Star Sports and they released the fifteen greatest players of IPL over the years and also picked a coach to lead the greatest XI in the tournament's history.

IPL has been a colossal tournament over the years and its stature is growing by leaps and bounds. Several stalwarts and legends of the game have stepped up in the IPL colours and the broadcasters jotted down the names and released a final list of the Greatest XI of the tournament's history.

India stalwart Virat Kohli has found his name in the team but current captain Rohit Sharma could only sneak in the Impact Players list. Former India captain and CSK legend MS Dhoni is being picked as captain to lead the all-star team.

Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Rashid Khan and Lasith Malinga are the four overseas players picked for the greatest IPL team, whereas two Caribbean stars Sunil Narine and Dwayne Bravo were inducted as Impact Subs.

Former New Zealand captain and current Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming is picked as the coach to mentor the team.

The 17th edition of the tournament is poised to start on March 23 this year and is expected to continue till May 29.
