As the 2025 IPL Auction approaches, Venkatesh Iyer is expected to be a hot pick. A left-handed middle-order batsman who can also bowl medium pace, Iyer's all-round skills make him a valuable asset for any team.

Despite being a key figure in Kolkata Knight Riders' IPL winning campaign, Iyer was released by KKR. The Madhya Pradesh batter made his debut with the Knights in IPL 2021, and has been a pivotal part of the team.
