The IPL 2025 mega auction is set to take place in Jeddah on November 24 and 25 respectively. The IPL auction fever is catching up in the Border Gavaskar Trophy as well.
In a hilarious clip, Australia's Nathan Lyon was seen asking Rishabh Pant about his auction hopes amid the ongoing first Test in Perth.

India is currently tottering at the Optus Stadium. After batting first, the batters have largely disappointed and the visitors are 108 for 6. Virat Kohli managed only 5 runs, while Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal didn't score a single run. KL Rahul also departed controversially after scoring 26 runs.
Rishabh Pant is currently at the crease and fighting with Nitish Reddy. The southpaw is batting on 30 runs and has looked decent so far, hitting three boundaries in the process. But amid the tension of the match, Australian spinner Nathan Lyon teased Pant with a question live on air.
Pant is perhaps the biggest name in the mega auction and is one of the marquee players. After being released by Delhi Capitals, the Indian player will be high in demand and is being tipped to fetch the highest money in auction history.
And in a video shared by Star Sports, Lyon can be seen asking Pant about his possible destination in the auction.
"Where are we going in the auction?" Lyon asked Pant while crossing the India batter, which is caught on the stump mic.
Pant, who has a hilarious history with stump mic in Australia, replied that he has no idea where he will be heading in the upcoming mega auction.
The India player will have no shortage of suitors in the mega auction. Punjab Kings, with the biggest auction purse, are tipped to be the frontrunners for Pant, while the likes of Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings will also be in the mix for the player.
