IPL 2025 Mega Auction Most Expensive Buys: The IPL 2025 mega auction has seen teams splashing cash on some hot prospects of world cricket, as stars across the globe got sold for massive amounts.

Rishabh Pant has become the most expensive player in the Indian Premier League history with a whopping Rs 27 crore price as he moved to the Lucknow Super Giants.

Shreyas Iyer also made Punjab Kings break the bank as PBKS splashed a massive Rs 26.75 crore for the India batter. Kolkata Knight Riders have bought Venkatesh Iyer for Rs 23.75 crore in the auction.

Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has gone to Punjab Kings for a massive Rs 18 crore, while Gujarat Titans bought Mohammed Siraj for Rs 12.25 crore.

Mohammed Shami has moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 10 crore, while KL Rahul, the former LSG captain will be playing for Delhi Capitals with a Rs 14 crore deal.

Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings led the IPL 2025 auction by securing three marquee players each, including top picks like Jos Buttler and Shreyas Iyer. Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals followed, acquiring two marquee players each, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) secured one marquee player each.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Rajasthan Royals (RR) opted not to buy any marquee players, prioritizing other strategies during the auction.
