Melbourne, May 6: As many of the Australian stars returned home after cameo spells in the cash rich Indian Premier League (IPL), opening batsman Matthew Hayden has said the rifts between India and Australia during the summer had started to mend.
''It's been an incredible experience,'' Hayden was qouted as saying by 'Sydney Morning Herald'. ''It's been one that's broken down the cultural barriers that perhaps existed through the course of this summer but also, more than anything, it's been a hell of a lot of fun to play in,'' he added. Hayden admitted he needed to make ''big adjustments'' to be prepared for Test cricket. ''Don't be surprised if you see me trying to walk down the wicket and clip someone over the top in the first few overs,'' opener said.
The Autralian team is currently preparing for the tour of West Indies starting with a Test series on May 22.
