IPL 2023: Star Sports has been criticised and slammed by fans for making female anchors including Mayanti Langer uncomfortable with a segment named 'Hot or Not' ahead of Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) all-important match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday.
The female presenters were made to swipe right and left (like on Tinder and other dating platforms) on the basis of the hotness quotient of top cricketers. The shirtless pictures of Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Andre Russell and others were displayed one after the other during the segment.

Fans who had turned on their TV sets to witness a riveting contest between RCB and SRH were left baffled and pissed on Star Sports' choice of segment for a pre-match show and in a tournament as elite as the India Premier League (IPL).
They tore into the broadcasters for objectifying men and asking very senior and married sports presenters to rate shitless pictures of 23-year-old youngsters like Gill. Here are a few of the reactions.
Talking about the match, RCB defeated SRH by eight wickets to put themselves on the cusp of IPL 2023 play-offs. Klaasen slammed a hundred for SRH and helped them post 186/5.
Later, Virat Kohli slammed his sixth IPL hundred and partnered with Faf du Plessis for 172 runs to help RCB chase the target in 19.2 overs.
