IPL Fixing: Bookies reveal more cricketers' names, say cops

New Delhi, May 26: After S Sreesanth, now bookies revealed more Indian cricketers' names who allegedly were involved in IPL spot fixing scandal, said Delhi Police sources on Sunday, May 26.

According to sources, an alleged bookie, who has been identified as Yahya Mohammad, disclosed the names of other players including foreign cricketers involved in spot fixing.

Delhi Police, however, did not reveal the names but confirmed that all IPL teams have come under their radar. The cops also have been investigating alleged links between bookies and Bollywood celebrities.

It was reported that another bookie Chandresh Patel wanted to contact more players, hence, he contacted Yahya. The arrested bookie reportedly was in touch with players of more than one team, including Rajasthan Royals, to spot-fix matches for bookies.

Yahya recently was arrested from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. He was all set to leave India leaving all fixing scandal behind.

Earlier it was reported Sreesanth had revealed four more cricketers' names and police are likely arrest them soon. The Kerala pacer along with his two other Rajasthan Royals team mates -- Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested from Mumbai and currently are in police custody which ended on Sunday, May 26.
