New Delhi, May 22: On the eve of their ninth anniversary, ministers of UPA government might have received a shock with a latest allegation which connects them to the infamous IPL spot fixing scandal.
Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy, who always fights against Manmohan Singh-led UPA, claimed that the even the central government is involvement in the scandal. He also asserted that many UPA ministers' names would popped up during police investigation in near future.
"The names of some UPA ministers will soon surface in the IPL spot fixing racket," he told reporters. "There can be no scams and scandals without the blessings of the UPA government. They are in Coalgate, Commonwealth Games scandal and also the IPL scandal," Swamy was quoted as saying.
Singh will address a select audience at his residence where he may mention the recent controversies that have plagued his government and efforts that have been made to counter the slew of corruption charges.
