Mumbai, May 29: Suspended pace bowler S Sreesanth may face more legal trouble as Mumbai Police hinted at his direct link with Vindoo Dara Singh. According to sources, the cricketer had met the small time Bollywood actor just a day before his arrest in Mumbai.

While Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth, his two Rajasthan Royals (RR) team mates and many bookies, Mumbai Police shocked all after arresting Vindoo and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) chief Gurunath Meiyappan.

Despite all sensational revelations in the investigations in IPL spot fixing scandal, this was first time when direct link between Sreesanth and Vindoo has been established.

According to police sources, Vindoo, one of the main suspected bookie and conduits between players and bookies, has admitted meeting the Kerala pacer on May 14. Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth on May 15.

Recently, one CCTV footage was aired showing Sreesanth's suspicious midnight activities in a hotel in Chandigarh post RR match with Kings XI Punjab. Sreesanth was seen with another bookie Jiju Janardhan, cricketer Ankeet Chavan and women.

Now, it seems that latest revelations by Mumbai Police may push the arrested cricketer to the corner. Sreesanth currently has been lodged in Tihar jail in then national capital. His bail applications have been rejected by a court in Delhi.

Earlier it was reported that Vindoo allegedly had supplied high-profile models, escorts and young girls to cricketers to lure the players for fixing.

Vindoo reportedly had paid Rs 1 lakh for one night to each girls. In the CCTV footage, Vindoo was seen with suspected bookie Pawan. Earlier it was reported that Pawan had given a gold chain worth Rs 4.5 lakh to Chris Gayle -- a player of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The tainted actor too has been sent to judicial custody till May 31.
