IPL franchisees,sponsors donate Rs 6 crore to Jaipur blasts affected

Mumbai, May 16 (UNI) The DLF Indian Premier League, in a magnanimous gesture towards those affected by Jaipur serial bomb blasts, today donated Rs 6 crore to the Rajasthan Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Mr Lalit Modi, Chairman and Commissioner of the Indian Premier League, informed newspersons that all the eight franchisees have donated Rs 50 lakh each towards the relief fund.

He said the sponsors have also decided to donate Rs 2 crore towards the fund, thus, making the total donation as Rs 6 crore.
