New Delhi, May 29: BCCI chief N Srinivasan is finding himself more cornered in the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot fixing scandal.
According to reports, IPL chairman Rajev Shukla and BCCI Vice-President Arun Jaitley have asked Srinivasan to stay away from the probe into the fixing scandal. The duo had reportedly asked the board president during the IPL final in Kolkata to step aside for the time being.
The BCCi chief, however, remained adamant and gave his own interpretation about Shukla's remarks, saying the latter only said that he would stay away from independent probe which he himself had said earlier.
