IPL vs PSL: South African pacer Corbin Bosch has found himself in a contractual dispute after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued a legal notice for allegedly breaching his PSL commitments.
Bosch, who was picked by Peshawar Zalmi in the Diamond category during the PSL 2025 Player Draft on January 13, reportedly withdrew from his obligations. The PCB stated in an official release that the legal notice was served through his agent, demanding an explanation for his withdrawal.

The board has also outlined the consequences of his departure and is awaiting his response within the given timeframe. Earlier this month, Bosch was named as a replacement for the injured Lizaad Williams in Mumbai Indians' squad for IPL 2025.
The IPL confirmed the development in a release, stating, "South African fast bowler Lizaad Williams is ruled out of the upcoming IPL 2025 due to an injury, and Mumbai Indians have signed his compatriot Corbin Bosch as his replacement."
The 30-year-old all-rounder, yet to make his IPL debut, was previously a reserve player for Rajasthan Royals in 2022 and has familiarity with the Mumbai Indians setup, having played for MI Cape Town in SA20 2024. He played a key role in their title-winning campaign, claiming 11 wickets in seven matches at an economy of 8.68.
With extensive T20 experience, Bosch has featured in 86 matches, securing 59 wickets at an economy of 8.38 while also contributing 663 runs at a strike rate of 113.33. He will reunite with national and MI Cape Town teammate Ryan Rickelton in the IPL. The PCB has stated it will not make further comments on the matter at this stage.
