Ireland will take on Scotland in their second Group B match of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 on Wednesday, June 21 at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. The match is Scotland's first in the 10-team tournament which will fill the final two spots in the World Cup 2023 this year in India.

In their first match, Ireland suffered a 5-wicket defeat against Oman. Oman chased down a 282-run target with five wickets and 11 runs remaining. The side would be hoping to get on the points sheet with a win over Scotland who themselves would be hoping to kick off their campaign with a win.

Ireland and Scotland are placed alongside Sri Lanka, Oman and UAE in the Group B. Group A consists of Zimbabwe, West Indies, Netherlands, USA and Nepal. The match between Sri Lanka and UAE will be the first Group B match of the ICC World Cup 2023 Qualifiers.
