Islamabad United will look to double and knock out defending champions Lahore Qalandars when the two sides clash in match 23 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Karachi on Wednesday, March 6.
Islamabad United rode on unbeaten fifties from skipper Shadab Khan and Salman Ali Agha to pull off a 196-run chase by 8 wickets against Shaheen Shah Afridi-led Lahore Qalandars in the reverse fixture which also served as the tournament curtain-raiser in Lahore last month.

Fourth-placed Islamabad United head into the rematch fresh from a 29-run victory over Peshawar Zalmi. Shadab produced an all-round display of 51-ball 80 and 3 for 41 spell in the win.
Lahore Qalandars, who occupy the sixth spot, saw their last match being washed out, but are yet to win this season, having suffered their sixth straight defeat following a 60-run loss to Multan Sultans in their previous match.
