Isle of Man, a country that plays in the European circuit, were bowled out for mere 10 runs against Spain on Sunday (February 26).
With this, the Isle of Man team now has the record for the lowest score in men's T20I history. It was a horrific performance from them as they lost the T20 series 5-0 against Spain.
Spain's bowling duo Mohammad Kamran and Atif Mehmood dismantled Isle of Man. It was a complete annihilation as Kamran and Mehmood picked up 4 wickets each in their collective eight overs spell. They conceded just 10 runs in their spell and also had 3 maiden overs in it. Kamran even capped his fantastic performance with a hat-trick as the hapless Isle of Man team suffered an astonishing capitulation.
Spain took only two balls to complete the formalities. The first ball was a no-ball. The free hit was dispatched by Awais Ahmed for a six, and he cleared the boundary again in the next ball to complete their swift victory.
Isle of Man now hold the sorry record of the lowest score in a men's T20I match. The record was previously held by Turkey, who were bundled out for just 21 runs against the Czech Republic in 2019.
It is also the lowest score in any men's T20 match, as it was below Sydney Thunder's recent 15-run all-out horror show in the Big Bash League.
