The second day of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) Season 2 delivered thrilling action at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium.
The day began with a captivating performance by Bollywood legend Sonu Nigam, who mesmerized the audience with timeless classics. The matches that followed saw Falcon Risers Hyderabad and Srinagar Ke Veer starting their campaigns with emphatic victories.

In the first match of the double-header, Falcon Risers Hyderabad claimed a comfortable eight-wicket victory over Chennai Singams, chasing down a modest target of 69 runs with three overs to spare.
Electing to bat first, Chennai Singams struggled to find their footing after a disastrous start. Opener Ketan Mhatre was dismissed in the first over, setting the tone for a challenging inning. While Jagannath Sarkar provided a brief spark with a blistering 22 off just 8 balls, his stay was cut short due to a mix-up with Prashant Gharat that resulted in a run-out.
Sarkar's departure marked the end of Chennai's dominance, as wickets fell in quick succession. Gharat became a victim of Vicky Bhoir's sharp bouncer, and the team's inability to score 10 runs during the 50-50 over led to a three-run penalty, adding to their woes. Despite surviving the two Tape Ball overs bowled by Vishwajit Thakur, Chennai could only muster 69 runs.
Hyderabad's chase was steady and composed, with openers Padmesh Mhatre and Kisan Satpute providing a solid start. Though Chennai managed to dismiss Satpute and Shreyash Kadam in quick succession, captain Sambhaji Patil joined Mhatre to steer the team to victory in style.
The second match saw Srinagar Ke Veer deliver a commanding performance against KVN Bangalore Strikers, securing a resounding 10-wicket win. Srinagar's bowlers set the tone by restricting Bangalore to their lowest-ever ISPL score of 61/6.
Bangalore's batting lineup failed to counter Srinagar's disciplined attack, struggling to build partnerships and maintain a steady scoring rate. The modest target proved no challenge for Srinagar's openers, as Sagar Ali and Mangesh Vaity made light work of the chase.
Sagar Ali was the star of the innings, smashing an explosive half-century in just 23 deliveries. His partnership with Vaity was a masterclass in aggressive batting, with the duo achieving the target in just 5.3 overs. Sagar's knock not only secured the win but also made him the first batter of the season to score a half-century.
