After a blockbuster first season, the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) is set to commence for the 2nd season, which shall be played in 2025.

But before that, the highly anticipated auction for the second season of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) is scheduled to take place in Mumbai.

The auction will feature an esteemed lineup of dignitaries, including cricket legend and Bharat Ratna awardee Sachin Tendulkar, who serves as a core committee member of ISPL. Prominent figures such as Ashish Shelar, Minal Amol Kale, and Suraj Samat, the league's commissioner, will join him. Adding a touch of Bollywood glamour, superstar couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, co-owners of the Tiiigers of Kolkata, will also be present.

Key league executives like Dipak Chauhan, the President of Operations, and other team co-owners will be in attendance, making this a significant occasion for the league's growing fan base.

ISPL Season 2 Auction: When will be the Auction for the 2nd season of the Indian Street Premier League?

The ISPL Season 2 auction will take place on December 11, 2024. The auction will start at 12:00 PM.

The event will be held at the Lotus Ballroom, Jio Convention Centre, BKC. Fans and team representatives alike are eagerly awaiting the action as teams strategize to secure top players for their rosters.

ISPL, hailed as India's first-ever tennis ball T10 cricket league, provides an innovative twist to traditional cricket formats, blending the excitement of street cricket with a professional stadium setup. Season 2 promises even more thrilling action, with new players set to join the league through this auction.

Six teams, like the first season, will take part in the second season of the competition. Tiigers of Kolkata was the champion in the inaugural season while Majhi Mumbai were the runners-up. The other teams in the competition are - Bangalore Strikers, Falcon Risers Hyderabad, Srinagar Ke Veer, and Chennai Singams.
