IPL 2023: KKR opener Jason Roy fined for breaching Code of Conduct during RCB clash

IPL 2023: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) opener Jason Roy has been fined 10 percent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during his side's match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday. The right-hander admitted to the offence.

The England star played a crucial role in helping KKR post 200/5 in 20 overs after being asked to bat first. His 29-ball stay on the crease saw him blast 56 runs including four fours and five sixes.

The 32-year-old was dismissed on the final ball of the 10th over by RCB pacer Vijaykumar Vyshak. Roy shuffled across the crease as Vushak's delivery crashed directly into his leg-stump. Roy hit one one of the bails while screaming furiously at himself.
