Jasprit Bumrah, who became the first Indian pacer to attain number one ranking Test cricket on Wednesday, has been slammed by cricket fans for his arrogant Instagram Story.
Bumrah starred in the Visakhapatnam Test by picking nine wickets. His Man of the Match-winning performance saw India win the match by 106 runs and level the 5-Test series 1-1.

After Bumrah became the first Indian bowler to attain number one ranking across formats, he posted an Instagram Story with a two-part picture showing a single person sitting in the stands against a jam-packed stadium. "The Support vs The Congratulations," the caption read on a picture.
Notably, Jasprit Bumrah was massively trolled last year during his time away from the game. Bumrah stayed out of action for almost a year and returned just ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. Fans trolled and humiliated him for getting injured time and again.
However, the 'arrogant' Instagram story has irked once again. Here's how they have reacted.
The 30-year-old has been exceptional ever since his comeback. He was on fire for India in the Asia Cup 2023, World Cup 2024 and during the Test series against South Africa.
Bumrah is also the number one ranked T20I bowler. The star cricketer is ranking sixth in Test cricket. Eyes will be on the star cricketer in lead up to the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
Media reports have suggested that Jasprit Bumrah might be rested from the third Test in Rajkot to manage his workload. Mohammed Siraj was also rested for the second Test due to the same reason.
