Jawan first day show for fanboy Rinku Singh, 'Love You Shah Rukh Khan', says India and KKR star

Jawan: Shah Rukh Khan's new release 'Jawan' took over the country on its release on Friday, September 7 and the his fans swarmed in the theatres, worshiped the effigies of the megastar and poured milk over it to display their love and affection for the 57-year-old actor.

Among many of his fans, India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star Rinku Singh also ensured to watch the movie on the first day of its release. Taking to his Instagram handle, the 25-year-old shared pictures of him watching the movie in a theatre.

"DND. Watching my fav @imsrk love you sir," the Aligarh-born cricketer, who made his India debut last month in August, captioned the picture.

Rinku Singh shares a strong bond with Shah Rukh Khan who is the co-owner of KKR which has helped Rinku become one of the sought after finishers in Indian cricket.

After Rinku hit back-to-back five sixes to help KKR win a thriller against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the IPL 2023, Shah Rukh had called the right-hander and promised to dance at his wedding in the future.

"Log mujhe bulaate hain apni shaadi mein, magar main jaata nahi hu. Main teri shaadi mein aaunga naachne. (People call me to attend their marriage, but I don't go. But I will attend your marriage and dance.)," Rinku had revealed, talking about SRK's call to him after his emphatic knock at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Shah Rukh Khan once again proved why he is called one of the biggest movie stars in the world. At a time Bollywood is failing to give hit movies, the Delhi-born actor has presented the fans with another blockbuster which is expected to earn over Rs 75 crore on the opening day in India. The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.

Earlier this year, his movie 'Pathaan' earned a whopping amount of Rs 1,050.3 crore worldwide. The movie which also starred John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, earned Rs 654.28 crore in India alone.

Shah Rukh Khan has returned to the box office after a gap of almost five years. A third release this year - 'Dunki' directed by Rajkumar Hirani has been slated to release on December 22.
