In anyone's life, inspiration is a pivotal factor. When one is cornered, the zeal and grit to counter back can only come from inspiration. And if we compare the one with Jamshedpur FC, the inspiration is surely a certain Frenchman named Jeremy Manzorro.

In the dynamic world of Indian football, Jeremy Manzorro has emerged as a pivotal figure for Jamshedpur FC, orchestrating the midfield with precision and flair. Manzorro, a French midfielder, joined Jamshedpur FC at the start of this season. He brought with him a wealth of experience from various leagues around the globe. His footballing journey has seen him ply his trade in countries such as Spain, Cyprus, and France.

MyKhel had a talk with Manzorro before the start of the season. In the peaceful abode of Jamshedpur FC Flatlets, the player talked with composure but confidence that he could be the driving force in his new surroundings.

"Yes, I believe to give my everything for the team. I am feeling good since arrival and linking up with my teammates. Hope to have a good season," Manzorro told MyKhel back at that time.

Manzorro's ability to control the tempo of the game, coupled with his vision and passing accuracy, has allowed him to dictate play from the midfield. He is not just a playmaker but also contributes defensively, showcasing his versatility and work ethic.

He started decently at Jamshedpur but the results were not coming for them. With just a solitary win in the first half of the season, the Red Miners were struggling at the foot end of the table. But then Khalid Jamil's arrival changed the complexion, and a simple change in the midfield allowed Manzorro to flourish.

Earlier, Brazilian player Elsinho was being used mostly as a centre-back. But Jamil paired Elsinho with Manzorro, allowing the Frenchman to venture forward and showcase his class in the offensive half of the pitch.

And since then, his impact on the team is evident in the statistics. The 32-year-old has made an enormous offensive contribution since the resumption of the league. He has already netted 5 goals in the last six ISL matches, which have been pivotal in the club's resurgence.

He scored a crucial brace against Mumbai City in a 3-2 away win, and then scored another brace against Punjab FC. But the moment of his ISL career came against East Bengal, when the Frenchman scored a 97th-minute winner in front of home supporters.

"He is the best player in this team. The way he has been performing is truly inspirational," Jamil said about Manzorro after the East Bengal victory.

Manzorro's leadership on and off the pitch has also been pivotal. As a seasoned professional, he has taken on a mentorship role, guiding younger players and helping build a cohesive team unit.

As the match ended against East Bengal, Jamshedpur fans were chanting Manzorro's name with all their voice. The city of Jamshedpur is witnessing this wizardry for the first time since Greg Stewart's heroics back in the 2021-22 season, when they won the ISL shield. And it looks like the Stade de Reims player is becoming a soul for the Steel City.
