Bengaluru, February 13: Veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami has been ruled out of the T20I series against South Africa women.

The BCCI medical team in consultation with a local doctor felt that she needs rest for a couple of weeks to avoid any further impact on the bone.

Upon her return, Goswami will consult a foot expert and will undergo her rehab process at the NCA in Bengaluru.

Goswami had recently completed 200 wickets, the first woman to do so, in the ODIs and played a good role in India's 2-1 series win over South Africa.
