J&K 132 in U-15 Poly Umrigar cricket tourney

Srinagar, Nov 6 (UNI) Delhi bowled out hosts Jammu and Kashmir to a paltry 132 in the first innings of their three-day under-15 match of Poly Umrigar national cricket tournament being played here today.

Jammu and Kashmir won the toss and decided to bat first on a flat pitch at the Sher-i-Kashmir cricket stadium here.

Delhi off spinner Manoj Chauhan bowled an excellent spell to claim five Jammu and Kashmir wickets while Vikas Mishra took three wickets to bundle out the home team at 132 runs in their first innings.

The hosts lost their first wicket at the score of 25. The home team collapsed after the fall of third wicket with 90 runs on scoreboard. For Jammu and Kashmir, Sidhanth Sharma was the highest scorer with 32 runs.

In reply, the visitors scored 86 for the loss of one wicket at the close of play.

Prashant Banda on 41 and Nippon on 11 were at the stamps.

For the hosts, skipper Aamir claimed the lone Delhi wicket that fell till close.
