Basseterre (St Kitts), July 18: Former West Indies fast bowler Joel Garner has been appointed team manager of the current side for a three-year period and he has already joined the outfit who are gearing up for their Test series against India.

The legendary fast bowler featured in 58 Tests and 98 One-Day Internationals from 1977 to 1987 and was a key man in the West Indies squad which lifted the World Cup in 1979.
West Indies kick-start their four-Test series against India in North Sound on July 21.
