In reply to a question, the all-rounder from Haryana who is here to participate in the Sheesh Mahal Cricket tournament for Sahara India team, disclosed that he never had the opportunity to get tips from former India skipper and 1983 world cup winning team leader Kapil Dev, though both of them hail from the same state and expressed his desire to get tips from the 'Haryana Hurricane'.

He also said that as a role model he visualises Zaheer Khan and Aashish Nehra.

Commenting on great Austrailan fast bowler Glenn McGrath, who retired from international cricket after the World Cup final, Joginder said he was impressed with the the 37-year-old bowler's consistent line and length bowling.
