South African pace ace Kagiso Rabada continues to deliver on the biggest stage, putting on a superb show in the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2025 against Australia at Lord's, London.
The 30-year-old speedster claimed a five-wicket haul in the first innings and struck early again in the second, underlining his match-winning abilities with the red ball.

Rabada was instrumental in dismantling the Australian batting line-up on Day 1, returning with outstanding figures of 5 for 51 as the Proteas bowled out the reigning champions for 212. He followed that with two key wickets on Day 2, removing Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green in a fiery spell that left Australia reeling at 32/2 in their second innings.
The wicket of Khawaja-caught behind for just 6 runs-marked Rabada's second dismissal of the left-hander in the match. Just two deliveries later, he removed Green for a duck, caught in the slips by Wiaan Mulder.
These two wickets not only gave South Africa an early advantage but also helped Rabada reach a personal milestone. He has now taken 573 wickets across formats, moving past Jacques Kallis' tally of 572 to become the fifth-highest wicket-taker for South Africa in international cricket.
Rabada has achieved the feat in just 242 matches, a remarkable contrast to Kallis' 513-game career. Ahead of Rabada in the all-time South African wicket-takers list are Shaun Pollock (823), Dale Steyn (697), Makhaya Ntini (661), and Allan Donald (602).
In Test cricket, Rabada now has 334 wickets from 71 matches. His ODI tally stands at 168 wickets in 106 appearances, while he has claimed 71 wickets in 65 T20Is.
During Australia's first innings, Rabada overtook Allan Donald's 330 Test wickets to become South Africa's fourth most prolific bowler in the longest format. With form on his side and more cricket ahead, Rabada is well on his way to rewriting South Africa's bowling record books.
