Former Indian bowler Javagal Srinath cast his vote in the ongoing Karnataka State Assembly Election on Wednesday (May 10).
The former Indian bowler, who also acts as Match Referee these days, was seen casting his votes at a polling station in his hometown Mysuru. He also showed his finger inked with the voting ink and had a talk with the media.

He encouraged the people of Karnataka to come and cast their votes, and urged the people to take part in democracy.
"I request people to come, vote & choose a good leader for good democracy. I also voted...We must participate in democracy," Srinath said to ANI.
The Karnataka state assembly election is a high-voltage one this year. The political parties are fighting out for 224 seats across the state, with the majority mark to form the government being 113.
2615 candidates are fighting for the 224 spots at the Karnataka Vidhan Sabha, as the poling is scheduled from 7 am to 6 pm on Wednesday. More than 58000 polling booths along with auxiliary polling stations are conducting the elections.
