KCL 2026 Schedule Announced: Kerala Cricket League Season 3 Set to Begin on August 20

The countdown to the third edition of the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2026) has officially begun, with the Kerala Cricket Association unveiling the full tournament schedule. The highly anticipated T20 league will run from August 20 to September 5, featuring six franchises competing for the coveted title over 17 action-packed days.

The tournament will kick off with Calicut Globstars taking on Thrissur Titans on August 20 at 2:30 PM. Later in the day, defending champions Kochi Blue Tigers will open their title defence against Kollam Sailors in the evening fixture scheduled for 7:30 PM.

The KCL 2026 semi-finals will be played on September 4, with the second-placed team facing the third-placed side, while the table toppers will meet the fourth-placed team. The Kerala Cricket League 2026 final is set for September 5, when the new champions will be crowned.

Since its launch, the Kerala Cricket League has rapidly emerged as one of India's fastest-growing regional T20 competitions. The previous editions attracted over 40 million viewers on Star Sports, more than 7 million on FanCode, and over 13.4 million on Asianet Plus, reflecting the tournament's growing popularity among cricket fans.

The league has also outperformed several established domestic competitions, including the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) and the Karnataka Maharaja Trophy, in television viewership, highlighting Kerala's rising stature in Indian domestic cricket.
