Kirtsten meets Kumble, BCCI officials

Mumbai, Feb 26 (UNI) The new Indian cricket coach Gary Kirsten, who will take over the reins of the team on March 1, today met team captain Anil Kumble and few members of board of Cricket Control in India officials at the BCCI headquarters here today.

Both Kirsten and Kumble held a two hour's meeting with BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah, treasurer N Srinivasan and Prof Ratnakar Shetty, the Board's Chief Administrative officer.

The two did not make any comments to the waiting mediamen after the meeting.

The Indian team went without a regular coach after former Australian skipper Greg Chappell did not renew his contract ten months ago after the Indian team's world cup debacle in March 2007.
