KKR IPL 2026 Full Squad: Kolkata Knight Riders lived up to expectations at the IPL 2026 mini-auction, emerging as the most aggressive franchise after arriving with a massive ₹64.30 crore purse - the largest ever carried by a team into a mini-auction.
The three-time champions wasted little time in reshaping their squad, making several headline-grabbing investments.

Their biggest move came with the acquisition of Cameron Green for ₹25.20 crore, a deal that surpassed KKR's own previous auction record set when they signed Mitchell Starc in 2024. With Andre Russell released ahead of the auction, Green is now set to become the franchise's new premier all-round option, entrusted with a central role in both batting and bowling departments.
While KKR briefly showed interest in reuniting with Venkatesh Iyer, they eventually stepped aside, allowing Royal Challengers Bengaluru to snap up the Indian all-rounder for ₹7 crore. That decision officially brought an end to a long association between Iyer and the Kolkata franchise.
KKR's intent to build a formidable bowling attack was further underlined by their heavy spending on fast bowlers. They secured Sri Lankan speedster Matheesha Pathirana for ₹18 crore and added Bangladesh left-armer Mustafizur Rahman for ₹9 crore, significantly bolstering their overseas pace resources.
In contrast to the big-ticket buys, the franchise also made shrewd value additions at the top of the order. New Zealand duo Finn Allen and Tim Seifert were picked up for modest sums of ₹2 crore and ₹1.5 crore respectively, addressing long-standing concerns around explosive starts without straining the budget.
Sunil Narine, Varun Chakaravarthy, Rinku Singh, Harshit Rana, Ajinkya Rahane, and Angkrish Raghuvanshi, alongside Manish Pandey, Anukul Roy, Ramandeep Singh, Rovman Powell, Umran Malik, and Vaibhav Arora.
