
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced the schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. After staging IPL across Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad in the last edition, the 16th season of the cash-rich league will revert to the home and away format.
Each of the 10 franchises will play 7 home games and 7 away games respectively in the league stage.A total of 70 league stage matches will be played across 12 venues over the course of 52 days.

The iconic Eden Gardens will host all the home matches of Delhi Capitals. The stadium can roughly have 80,000 fans at a time.

Kolkata Knight Riders will play a total of 14 matches in the group stage of the IPL 2023. Their first match will be against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 1 in Mohali. The side will play against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their first home match at April 8. The 2-time champions play their last league match versus Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Kolkata on May 20.
