Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Mitchell Starc has achieved a monumental record in the ongoing Test match against West Indies.
KKR star Mitchell Starc has now gone past 350 Test wickets in his career. The left-arm pacer achieved the prestigious record as he picked up the wicket of Alick Athanaze on Day 1 of the 2nd Test between Australia and West Indies on Thursday (January 25).

He picked up Tagenarine Chanderpaul first, but the milestone wicket came as Athanaze edged one straight to Alex Carey in the 22nd over of the match. Starc has so far picked up 3 wickets in the innings and has 351 Test wickets to his name.
The 33-year-old made his Test debut in 2011 and now has his milestone 350th Test wicket in his 87th Test for Australia. He is now the 5th highest wicket-taker for Australia in Test cricket.
Ahead of Starc, there are only four Australian bowlers, who are Dennis Lillee (355), Nathan Lyon (512), Glenn McGrath (563) and Shane Warne (708).
This brings good news for the KKR fans, as the coveted pacer will play for the Knight Riders in IPL 2024. Starc became the most expensive player in IPL's history as KKR broke the bank to sign him for a whopping Rs. 24.75 crore in the IPL 2024 auction.
This will be also a return for Starc in the cash-rich franchise tournament after a hiatus of eight seasons. He was part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in past, and was also roped in by KKR in 2018, but opted out from the tournament before the season that time.
