KKR pacer Vaibhav Arora given Hero's reception at Hometown after IPL 2024 Triumph

Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Vaibhav Arora was welcomed back like a hero in his hometown.

KKR had a stellar IPL season this year. The Knight Riders were by far the best team of the tournament and clinched their 3rd title, ending a decade-long wait for the championship.

In the Final, KKR decimated Sunrisers Hyderabad. They bowled SRH out for just 113 runs and then chased the score with more than nine overs to spare to register the most dominating victory in the history of the IPL Finals.

Vaibhav Arora was one of the starlets for the Knight Riders side. The pacer bowled superbly for them. He used to bowl in the powerplay and sometimes at the death and honed his role perfectly.

Arora picked up the crucial wicket of Travis Head in the Final as well. In the season, the 26-year-old ended up with 11 wickets in 10 matches, with the best figures of 3/27 against Delhi Capitals in Vizag.

As the KKR pacer returned to his hometown Ambala, he was welcomed with a grand reception. A video on social media has surfaced which shows the player being surrounded by people. He is also seen being garlanded around his neck and fans across the city posed for pictures, took selfies with the KKR pacer.

It has been an outstanding season for Vaibhav Arora and he deserves all the accolades. It is to be seen whether Arora is retained by the Knights ahead of next season's mega auction.
