After the match, Lynn tweeted from his official account, "Dear Cricket Gods, did I do something wrong?"

His tweet read:

This is the second time in the last 2 years that the cricketer suffered an injury on the same left shoulder.

Lynn became an instant sensation among the KKR fans after his power packed performance against Gujarat Lions in their opening IPL 2017 match.

He is currently the highest run-scorer in the tournament with 125 runs in 2 matches. IPL 2017 Orange Cap

Along with Gautam Gambhir, the batsman took Kolkata to an emphatic 10 wickets win against the Lions. He remained unbeaten at 93 of just 68 balls.

While, the Kolkata team management are yet to give a confirmation on Chris Lynn's future and his present condition, his tweet is sure to stir up some major speculations.
