The Major League Cricket's inaugural season is just a days away. The USA-based franchise tournament will be played across six teams and starts from July 13.
Three IPL franchises have recruited teams in the MLC 2023 season and Kolkata Knight Riders are one of them.

Sunil Narine, the name which is synonymous with Knight Riders, will be leading LAKR in the first season. Narine also plays for Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the CPL and has captained Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (ADKR) in the ILT20.
The West Indies spinner has been a part of two IPL-winning teams for KKR, while has lifted CPL titles with TKR as well.
Along with naming Narine as captain, LA Knight Riders also announced the coaching staff for the inaugural season on Monday (July 10).
