KKR vs CSK IPL 2023: Match Prediction

Kolkata Knight Riders have been pale in their last few matches. The KKR side were beaten by bottom club Delhi Capitals in the last match as their batting faltered big time. The wayward nature of the KKR team has been prevalent in all matches and it is quite evident they lack quality in both departments.

Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, have looked formidable in recent matches. Their batting has been excellent, and their spin bowling has fuelled results for them in the past couple of instances. With MS Dhoni leading the troops, even fringe players like Ajinkya Rahane, Tushar Deshpande have starred under his adept guidance.

CSK do look the better side on paper and it looks like the Yellow Army will garner two important points at the City of Joy.

KKR vs CSK Head to Head in IPL

KKR and CSK have always been an affair which has favoured the latter over the years. Out of the 27 meetings, CSK have won 17 matches, while KKR have just managed 9 wins.

These two familiar foes have met twice in the IPL finals, with KKR winning it in 2012 to clinch their maiden title. CSK then came back to win their fourth title in the 2021 Final at the expense of KKR.
