Kolkata Knight Riders are taking on Gujarat Titans in the IPL on Saturday (April 29) at the Eden Gardens. The match has started after a 45-minute delay due to scattering thunderstorms in Kolkata.
The visiting GT side won the toss and chose to bowl first and KKR will now be hoping to replicate their recent upsurge in the tournament. They will also be taking confidence from their previous meet against GT, where they beat the defending champions courtesy of a Rinku Singh magic show.

KKR captain Nitish Rana was at the toss and said they had to make two forced changes. It will come as a huge blow as in-form batter Jason Roy is missing from the side. Along with Roy, Umesh Yadav's name is also missing from KKR's starting lineup.
Jason Roy suffered a back spasm on Saturday morning, which has forced him out of the match. Roy will be a huge miss as the batter has shown tremendous form in the two matches he has played so far.
Roy provided KKR with enough artillery in their batting and scored back-to-back fifties in the two matches that he has played so far. Afghanistan batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz has replaced Roy.
KKR are also missing Umesh Yadav as the fast bowler is carrying a niggle. Umesh has been underwhelming thus far with just 1 wicket to his name, hence KKR may not miss him a lot. Harshit Rana has replaced him.
