In the final delivery of the 3rd over, Sai Sudharsan was hit on his elbow by Kartik Tyagi. Sudharsan tried to pull but missed the ball, which hit straight at his left elbow.

The batter fell down but completed a run, but following that, he was down in pain again. The GT physio attended and the player was deemed unable to continue.
