Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will look to respond to their first defeat of the season when they return home to host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday (April 14).
Shreyas Iyer-led KKR head into the match on the back of a 7-wicket loss to Chennai Super Kings in their most recent outing, while KL Rahul’s LSG are fresh from a 6-wicket loss to Delhi Capitals.

KKR, who opened their campaign with good batting performances in wins over Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals, struggled against CSK as they managed to post just 137, which the opponents chased down with ease.
LSG, on the other hand, had responded to their campaign opening loss to Rajasthan Royals with back-to-back wins over Punjab Kings, RCB and GT before the streak came to an end when they failed to defend 167 against DC.
The two sides will lock horns for the fourth time in IPL history and for the second time at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Here is a look at the KKR vs LSG head to head numbers:
